What is the deadline to register for the conference?
The registration deadline is July 2023. For further details, please refer to the ICDF webpage and the registration page.
What is the cost of registration for the conference?
Registration is free of charge, however, all other costs, such as flights, accommodations, visa fees are covered by participants. In-country expenses, such as food and transportation will be provided by the organizers for the duration of the conference.
Is the registration for the conference limited?
Yes, the number of participants is limited, both for the conference and for the field visits.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, once your registration is completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note, after registration all the applications will be reviewed by the scientific committee of the conference and only successful candidates will receive an invitation for participation.
If I need to cancel my participation, what is the cancellation process?
You can send us an email to debrisflow@akdn.org indicating your wish to defer from participation.
What are the health and emergency situations protocols for the conference?
AKAH is committed to protecting the health and safety of participants during the event and the field visits. However, participants carry responsibility for their insurance plan. The organizers do not cover costs related to medical care and treatment during the event.
